I’m a civil litigator focused on defending police officers, law enforcement agencies, and municipalities in high-stakes Section 1983 and civil rights cases. I’ve tried dozens of serious felony cases—from homicides to special victim crimes—and now focus on complex civil matters involving reversed convictions and allegations of police misconduct.Before joining Nathan & Kamionski LLP, I helped launch Maryland’s Independent Investigations Division, where I oversaw police-involved death investigations and shaped statewide policy on police accountability.Earlier in my career, I spent over a decade as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Baltimore County, gaining extensive courtroom experience by prosecuting some of the most serious and sensitive cases in the state.Whether in court or behind the scenes, I bring strategic clarity and a nuanced understanding of the intersection between law, policy, and policing.
