About Perry Tawiah
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Systems at the University of Cincinnati, with plans to pursue an MBA in graduate school. My academic focus centers on connecting technology, cybersecurity, and business strategy to solve complex organizational challenges.My experience spans both technical and business-focused roles, including working in information security and cybersecurity internships supporting security operations, risk analysis, and organizational security practices. I’ve also worked as a Business Analyst, where I analyzed processes, built dashboards, and supported data-driven decision-making to improve operational efficiency. These experiences have shaped me into a multi-talented and adaptable professional who can operate across both technical and business environments. My background in retail and sales has also strengthened my communication and problem-solving skills in fast-paced settings.Outside of work, I’m actively involved in leadership organizations including the National Society of Black Engineers, Color Stack (Treasurer), and the Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) Career Prep Program, where I receive mentorship and training from executives at firms such as Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Deloitte. Long term, I aim to pursue consulting, combining my cybersecurity, analytics, and business skills to help organizations solve complex challenges across industries.I hold certifications in Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate, IBM Data Analytics Professional Certificate, and AI Intelligence, and I am currently pursuing CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, and Certified associate in project management (CAPM) to further strengthen my expertise in cybersecurity, analytics, and project leadership
