   Pioneered the Interior Design direction for IKEA’s first store in the new Bangalore market, blending the global concept with local *Life at Home* to deliver a high level of inspiration and contribute to strong business growth and customer experience- Built and recruited the Com & In team, and led and developed the Interior Design team, growing competence and securing succession through hands-on coaching, mentoring and continuous learning in Home Furnishing the IKEA Way- Collaborated with the Expansion team during stores’ build-up to secure high-quality, market-relevant Home Furnishing Solutions that strengthened IKEA’s unique identity and brand positioning- Drove the store’s strategic direction by contributing to the business plan, securing the commercial calendar, yearly plan and creating key strategic tools (Matrix, Overview, SISAN plan), and leading multiple major rebuilds to continuously strengthen inspiration, market adaptation, and quality impression- Led Home Visits and developed the Life at Home Report to translate customer insights into design strategies that inspire, surprise and strengthen the IKEA Brand as a leader in Home Furnishing in Bangalore market- Fostered cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement by optimizing working processes, supporting the Mumbai Store for its Concept Review, and sharing good examples and insights from the UAE with the India HF & RD community. Recognized for shaping the store’s Home Furnishing Solution direction with strong strategic thinking and vision, hands-on creative leadership in large-scale rebuilds, and a genuine commitment to developing and retaining design talent.
