ABOUT PERLA CHEBLI
As an Assistant Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, I apply my PhD in Public Health and my passion for community health to conduct research and teaching on health disparities and social determinants of health. I have contributed to multiple publications, grants, and projects on topics such as cancer prevention, immigrant health, and health equity.I have a strong track record of developing and maintaining relationships with local partners, such as community-based organizations, health care providers, and policy makers, to implement health disparities research and service initiatives. I also provide support to organizational and program teams, train and mentor graduate students, and adapt my verbal and written communication styles to various audiences. I am proficient in qualitative and mixed methods research, and I use Dedoose software for data analysis and management. I am fluent in English, French, and Arabic, and I have a Master of Public Health degree from New York University.
