User Experience Design Leader and Operational Strategist with 23 years of experience in design, from motion and print design to all facets of user experience design and product management. I\'ve worked in large and small companies, start-ups and agencies. I\'ve managed teams as small as 2 and as large as over 40 (recursively). In Chief of Staff roles, I\'ve indirectly overseen and influenced teams into the hundreds. My personal brand of leadership has been described as deeply human, patient, and an empathetic change agent, driving positive cultural shifts for teams and organizations. I trust and empower my teams through vulnerable inspiration and transparency, making sure to include always and in all ways.KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS- Leadership: I’ve led several teams through cultural and organizational shifts while reducing attrition by over 50%, and improving throughput by 900% while creating safe and vibrant workplaces- Influence: Through inclusion and collaboration I Influenced a large financial institution to proactively innovate its tooling, catalyzing new data analysis and digital workshopping tools- Operations: I shifted two giant media companies from shipping designs in 6 months, to shipping validated products in weeks through a flexible play-based process- Scale: As an interaction designer, I have scaled my design efforts across a multi-billion page design system, delivering new components for testing, in front-end mark-up, weekly- Innovation: Led and designed the first blockchain rewards system for Ethereum, in both English and Mandarin Chinese, used across two continents.
