ABOUT PERI K. LIPKA
I’m an attorney whose areas of practice include complex commercial litigation and trust and estate litigation, with a special interest in fashion law.In my current role as a litigation associate at a boutique firm, I handle cases from inception to completion, including drafting pleadings, extensive motion practice and all facets of trial preparation up through and including trial and post-trial briefing. In addition, I also counsel clients who want to resolve disputes outside of court through mediation and arbitration.Highlights of my recent work include a meritorious decision after an 11-day bench trial defending claims against an executor in excess of $10 million and drafting a winning appeal resulting in the First Department unanimously reversing a Surrogate’s Court decision.Prior to law school, I worked in fashion and started my own successful business as an e-commerce entrepreneur. My experiences there piqued my interest in intellectual property law.Because of my life and business experience prior to my legal career, I bring a unique ability to assess problems, think on my feet, work independently and develop creative solutions.Outside of work, I’m a dachshund lover who supports dachshund rescues and animal adoption efforts locally and worldwide. I’m also a foodie who loves to travel. I am looking forward to an upcoming trip to Japan where I can combine my love of sushi, sights, fashion and travel!Want to set up a consultation?
