Implement and support strategic initiatives to unite Forsyth County by raising awareness and taking action on asset poverty, its effects on individuals, families, and the community. Create a collaborative culture of stakeholders in all public sectors of the community. Recruit coalition members to be part of the conversations to end systemic barriers that have disproportionately impacted the BIPOC community- Facilitate conversations around systemic changes that contribute to asset poverty and lift up opportunities for policy changes that will have a long-lasting effect on families of color in North Carolina- Lead and support advocacy efforts around benefits cliff, reform of municipal fines and fees, reinstatement of EITC, reform on student loan debt, expansion of medicaid in NC, and affordable housing- Foster organizational development and further sustainability in conjunction with staff, Board, and stakeholders- Responsible for overall leadership and operations of the organization: including personnel, finances, mission delivery, communication, fund development, and management.
