About Jay Perez

Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Aviation, Avionics, & Instruments Corporation (AAIC), my role centers around business development, working with new and current customers in the commercial, regional, military, rotorcraft, and airline brokers on a global scale. Since joining AAIC, I\'ve grown our business with Regional and Legacy carriers by 200% by providing exceptional customer services and establishing relationships with all of our customers. AAIC specializes in providing clients with fast and accurate repair decisions. By working with AAIC, our unmatched capabilities, and strict adherence to the highest quality standards, we have the lowest warranty return rates in the industry at <1%. We take pride in conducting board level repairs to reduce the need to replace entire components. Our customers have a national and international reach and include Southwest, United, Boeing, Embraer, Delta, Alaska Air, West Jet, Lionair, several Regional Carriers, and the US Coast Guard. With extensive experience on both sides of the aviation industry, I uniquely understand my customers\' repair challenges. I speak from experience and have the integrity to sell what the airlines need. Before joining AAIC, my entire career has been in the airline industry. I worked my way up from an entry-level position while in college, working in warehouse distribution and purchasing. With upward career progression, I quickly became Vice President of Material Services at Express Jet (previously Continental Express). I am proud of the positive impacts I made throughout the organization, including driving high-volume complex supply-chain operations to support critical operational needs. I held P&L and operational leadership for more than 200 colleagues and championed a new MRO tracking system saving $3M the first year. Following ExpressJet, I worked as a Sales Manager for Absolute Aviation and Heico Corporation. I established an S-Corp, Executive Logistics, and served as a Sales Consultant with ExpressJet, and Tazmanian Freight Services. When not working, I love to travel, fish, and am an avid golfer. A sports enthusiast, I went to college on a basketball and baseball scholarship.
