My first summer out of school, an uncle asked me \"would you ever consider doing what I do (sales)?\" I told him no. I couldn\'t imagine living with so much uncertainty.Not even a year later while working in sales operations a sales leader asked me,\"would you ever consider coming to work for me?\" I told him no. It just wasn\'t for me.Nearly a decade later and I couldn\'t imagine a life doing anything else. The only reason I said no so many years ago, was because I had not the slightest clue of what a career in sales actually entailed. Now I couldn\'t be happier that somewhere along the line I finally said yes to what this career is. Engaging with people. Understanding their need and helping drive value that leaves you both in a better place than you were yesterday.Today I\'m a Senior Enterprise Account Executive with Fastly helping organizations create customer magic.
