Per Jahre Nilsen has more than 25 years of experience within the oil and gas, maritime, energy and software industry. A leadership professional with deep technical background and several years experience in international technology transfer & innovation, business development, innovation processes and value selling. Passionate about business development and client relations. During my time in DNV I have worked with service development for clients within the shipping and energy/oil & gas industries with high value for our clients. Per has worked with topics such as risk and safety, fluid dynamics, drilling, subsea, inspection/surveyor activities, well intervention,P&A, rules and regulations,IT reliability and development of software services and products. The work includes management on various levels, sales & major BD activites, verification, classification, survey, course development, development of DNV offshore standards and class notations, management and business/service development as well as R&D activities. Major clients or stake holders have been authorities, major oil companies, rig owners, ship brokers, ship owners and suppliers. Experience in client relations, marketing and sales activities including KAM/CSM activiteis. Per has also experience from supply chain within the maritime and Offshore market through Pon Power Scandinava. Per has for more than 15 years developed management experience in various business units both within DNV and externally as Head of Sections, Business Development Management, Integration management of acquired companies to DNV and also executive management experience. Per has through these positions, and from IMD developed strong leadership experience including strategic business development skills
