   As an Admissions Advisor for our ABSN track at Concordia University Texas I am interacting with students & assisting them in their goals. This process is unique in it\'s own as you have to develop a strong relationship with the student, helping them understand how to not allow the multiple deadlines & requirements stop them. We create a professional yet tight connection with our students as trust is key in this role. For some we are working with them for 2-3 months, the critical timeframe. While others reach out in the early parts of their journey and we will layout a plan to prepare them for the application deadline. That can be up to 2 years or more. In this role I am constantly telling my students that they have to be ready for pitfalls, honest conversations, celebrating all the wins and ultimately reworking your plan if needed. Always be ready to be honest, to be transparent and my #1 rule, be respectful. I really do have HEART for what I do - that has always been the biggest part of who I am. That is why students come back and work with us. The admissions team, all of us - care. And being able to help achieve a student\'s life long goal is an amazing experience.
