ABOUT ELLIE HUTCHISON
I am a trainer, coach, and researcher with a passion for improving mental health and wellbeing across diverse sectors. With a Master’s degree (Distinction) in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology and a PhD in progress exploring wellbeing interventions in policing, I combine academic credibility with practical experience to create meaningful change.My work spans healthcare, policing, charities, and education. I have delivered mental health training to over Police officers, supported NHS teams and hospices, and recently begun training at my local university, as well as countless private companies. As a qualified First Aid for Mental Health Instructor, I pride myself on delivering trauma‑informed, inclusive training that empowers new recruits and experienced professionals alike.I care deeply about creating environments where people can thrive. My research has been published in peer‑reviewed journals, I have contributed to national specialist academic conferences and I am an invited author for a forthcoming psychology textbook chapter on Character Strengths and Wellbeing. At the heart of my work is a commitment to inclusivity, resilience, and practical impact. Whether through research, training, or coaching, I aim to help individuals and organisations cultivate wellbeing, strengthen leadership, and build sustainable practices for the future.
