Joseph M. Burt is the President of Pension Plan Specialists P.C, a Third Party Administrator based in the Pacific Northwest. Joe is a frequent speaker at both industry and non-industry events where he focuses on effecting change by encouraging others to, “Think Differently!”. Joe has 26 years of experience helping clients with Defined Contribution plans, ESOP, 403(b) and Defined Benefit Plans including Cash Balance and serves as 3(16) Fiduciary for some clients. Additionally, he has earned several professional designations from industry associations including ERPA, APA, QPA and QKA. Joe has been honored to serve as the President of the National Institute of Pension Administrators and is a proud member of ASPPA. Joe is actively involved in SPARK serving as the Chairman of the API & Industry Technology committee. He served on the Nike World Master Games Board of Directors for three years. He is also a founding Member of The Cerrado Group and a member of its Executive Committee. Joe is married and lives in Vancouver, WA with his beautiful wife and their four lovely daughters.
