About Penny Rietschel

Penny has 25+ years of experience in commercial workplace interiors, including experience in project management, studio leadership, business operations, technical drawings, and drawing coordination. Penny earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The University of Texas at Austin in 1997 and is a Registered Interior Designer (RID) in Texas and a Certified Interior Designer (CID) in California. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional, specializing in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD+C). In 2013, Penny was recognized as one of Silicon Valley Business Journal’s “Women of Influence”.As a Senior Project Manager, Penny has managed large-scale, multi-phased projects for a number of clients in the US and Asia. Penny leverages collaborative, cross-functional teams and maintains an organized approach to solving complex design and construction issues, yielding a high-quality project that exceeds client expectations. The camaraderie she establishes with the team from programming through completion has forged strong and long-lasting relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and city officials.In the community, Penny is on the 2026 Board of Directors of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Silicon Valley and serving as both a Chapter Champion as well as a Delegate to CREW Network. She also was Chapter President of CREW Silicon Valley in 2012, as well as a member of the CREW Network Scholarship Selection Committee and the CREW California Conference Planning Committee. Penny was nominated for CREW Network\'s 20-Under-40 Awards program in 2010.
