ABOUT PENNY MARSHALL

I am a Programme Manager specialising in Technology & Business Process Change. My subject matter expertise spans Global Markets (all asset classes) Front Office Trading Technologies, end-to-end trade flows, Prime Finance, Financial Crime (KYC & AML), Regulatory Reporting, and HR domains. My professional expertise is to direct and manage cross-functional, cross-business, delivery teams in multiple geographic regions, navigate programme risk and to deliver sensitive and complex programmes on time and to budget.Whilst working as a contractor I have been re-hired for new roles by each of my previous programme sponsors at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank & HSBC.Having worked in Business Change / Transformation, Technology, Product Development, Client Operations and Human Resources, I have a solid understanding of the front-to-back roles of the business and supporting functions. My skills include- Working in partnership with key stakeholders to achieve successful change- Meticulous organisation, planning and tracking to manage risk & issues that can de-rail delivery- Significant strengths in solution design, problem solving and bringing siloed teams together to achieve successful business outcomes- Highly ethical, non-political approach motivated by ‘doing the right thing’ to achieve my client’s aims. I currently hold the role of Equity Derivatives Business Programme Manager, having previously managed the Trade & Transaction Reporting Programme, successfully implemented a market leading Anti Money Laundering (AML) solution, and prior to that a Front Office Supervision (Cancels & Amends) programme. Before this, I managed the SAP Success Factors implementation of Payroll, Time Off & Benefits, a Client Due Diligence transformation programme, a Trading Technology change initiative spanning trade capture through to financial and unauthorised trading controls, and change management programmes / projects within Equity Finance, across Stock Borrow/Loan (Custody/Sell-Side and Buy-Side), Funding, Cash Prime Brokerage and Synthetic Equity, with in-depth domain knowledge in these areas.
