I created Penny in Your Pocket® to help people like us — people who’ve traded cubicles for campgrounds, rush hour for red rock sunrises, and are building incredible, creative businesses from the road.But I know how quickly freedom can feel fragile when you’re scared of taxes or unsure how to manage your money.Take one client I worked with early on. At the time, she had just left her full-time job and was diving into self-employment for the first time. She was excited about the freedom but terrified of the IRS. She didn’t know how to handle 1099 income, how much to set aside, or where to even start.We worked together to build a simple, visual money system.
