Under EVP’s leadership, the Ameriprise Franchise Group manages $5B in AUM with 7,500+ advisors, and 100 field and corporate employees. My partnership with EVP is crucial for several reasons: • Drive efficiencies with EVP’s calendar by: • Saving four hours or more time in a 60 hour work week. • Managing and prioritizing EVP’s calendar to ensure that his time is focused on critical, strategic issues. • Ensuring EVP is on time for meetings, right people are in the meetings, and necessary materials are received. • Enable remote decision-making for EVP, keeping deliverables for run-the-business projects on track, and filtering distractions that are appropriately delegated to others. • Play a role in elevating the skills and strategic capabilities of twenty-six field coordinators by leading monthly operations calls, provide coaching and created a learning pathway to help support the development of the field coordinators in these areas of leadership: thoughts, results, people and self. • Provide strategic leadership on meeting/conference strategy, participation, logistics management and communications. Manage budgets, vendor relationships and overall meeting/conference coordination. • Create and manage yearly AFG organization calendar for routine meetings, conferences, national calls, and personnel evaluations.
