Purchasing & Procurement Manager, FF & E • Responsible for training and daily management of the FF & E Buyers and Purchasing Assistants. • Oversee purchase order process to include expediting and escalation issues. • Analyze reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions. • Communicate with other Divisions within Guest Supply for Best Practices to incorporate into daily responsibilities and accountability of the Team. • Identify Suppliers that we can partner with for overall growth in new or existing product categories. • Maintain Vendor relationships and pricing strategy by conducting ongoing Operational Reviews. • Develop employees’ skills and behaviors to ensure a consistent, high level of talent throughout the Department. Provide career path. • Coach to keep staff on task in communicating with peers, upper level management and the support of territory managers/sales teams. Maintain call performance goals and quality goals of the Buyers. • Solidify relations with Branch Management and Corporate Staff. • Solve issues quickly that affect morale and productivity of the Team • Recruit for and hire the best and most motivated people for the Buyer, Assistant Buyer and Administrative roles. • Prepare and present training materials to the Territory Sales Managers, District Managers, Regional Sales Managers and other internal divisions regarding FF & E.
