Screen Alliance North is the Northern BFI Skills Cluster created in partnership by Liverpool Film Office, North East Screen, Screen Manchester and Screen Yorkshire backed by BFI National Lottery Funding. The four screen agencies have come together to create a lead skills body for the North of England to tackle skills shortages and improve access to quality training provision for diverse talent and communities.

ABOUT PENNY H.
I\'m an experienced Head of Department and Senior Project/Partner Lead, currently working as the Skills Cluster Partnership Lead for the Northern BFI Skills Cluster, Screen Alliance North. I come from a hands-on production background in the TV and film industry, with credits on projects for Warner Brothers, Endemol, and the BBC.Over the years, I’ve worked closely with other HODs to bring creative ideas to life, turning the big-picture goals of executive teams and trustees into real, tangible projects. I’ve led the strategic planning behind a wide range of initiatives, from launching new content platforms to developing full screen education programs and large-scale productions. I act as a key link between public agencies and film industry partners, leading on specialist projects within the screen industries
