ABOUT MICHAEL PELLETIER
Michael is a Civil Technologist with experience in construction inspection, construction layout, topographic surveying and asset management data collection. As a construction inspector he has experience supervising watermain construction/ commissioning, storm & sanitary sewer construction and road construction. He has knowledge and understanding of Ontario Provincial Standards (OPS), American Water Works Association Standards (AWWA) and Ontario\'s Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA).As a surveyor he has experience with robotic total stations, GPS rovers, laser level and conventional rod and level. This experience is demonstrated through topographic surveying, construction layout and asset management data collection. Michael has had exposure in such project environments as area grading work, bridges and culverts, road reconstruction and municipal assets such as water and waste water pumping stations and linear infrastructure.Through Michael’s previous experience as a Geotechnical Technician he has demonstrated proficiency in field skills such as concrete testing, compaction testing, structural inspections (i.e, rebar, footings, caissons), as well as geotechnical and environmental drilling. He also has experience in full time inspection during earth works operations such as: foundation excavation, site servicing, engineered fill and environmental remediation. Michael is a CSA/ CCIL certified concrete tester with experience in materials testing such as unconfined strength testing, grain size distribution (including hydrometers and Atterberg limits) and standard proctor compaction tests.
