ABOUT ROMAIN PELISSIER

I contracted the construction’s virus in Central Africa region while working for an international construction company. I would remember this period, stamped by youthful restlessness, as the thrilling learning of managing construction sites and the burden of leading wide teams within complex and multi-cultural environments.Afterwards, a dozen years ago, I dive into the renewable energy business that enabled me to reconcile a genuine desire to work towards a more sustainable future and my appetite for construction.So, I had the privilege to push forward decisively renewable projects around the world, ranging from wind farm to PV plant through hybrid power station, while working for a turbine manufacturer & renewable energy solutions provider.Among many accomplishments, I would spotlight the construction in Ethiopia of the largest wind farm in sub-Saharan Africa at that time. I led the EPC contractor team, striving side by side to achieve this very challenging but incredibly rewarding once in a lifetime project. More recently I swapped to the Owner’s side to drive the procurement & construction of the first asset in Europe of a leading independent power producer and to set up its construction team. A different positioning along the value chain, I carried out with enthusiasm, experience and determination within a delightful global context.Currently the surprising path of life led me at (19°42\'00\"S 63°25’00\"E).
