I am a multi-disciplinary architect at Cisco Wireless, specializing in wireless, location, and smart building technologies. I hold a PhD in Wireless Communications and bring over 20 years of experience, with more than 150 issued patents and over citations. My expertise spans embedded systems, device AI, and robotics, with a focus on harnessing networking, location, and occupancy data to drive innovative use cases in wireless networking and smart building applications.Prior to Cisco, at Onsemi, I defined architecture and technical specifications for wireless solutions in industrial and automotive applications.At Netgear, I focused on wireless access and smart home technologies, including Multi-AP and single-AP wireless (Orbi, Nighthawk), low-power cameras and sensors (Arlo), and home sensors. I designed protocols for Arlo cameras, optimized battery life, developed mesh solutions for Orbi, and contributed to Multi-AP standards.At Broadcom, I worked on system design, algorithms, and wireless solution bring-up, contributing to 802.11ac from concept to mass production and leading the WiFi VHT5G program. My work influenced the 802.11ac and 802.11ah standards and WFA specifications.I also spent four years working on autonomous mobile robots, earning international awards for contributions to a multi-agent AI system.
