About Peggy Venable

Having worked in Washington, D.C, for President Reagan, the RNC and for President George Herbert Walker Bush, I have been back in Texas for 20 years working on public policy issues for Americans for Prosperity and our predecessor organization. All politics is local and I have a passion for local government issues. I am an advocate of government transparencies. I do not believe local governments should use our tax dollars to lobby and believe workers should be able to keep more of what they earn. I work to educate citizens on how public policy decisions - whether made in Washington, D.C, in Austin and or their own towns - impacts their lives and their children\'s futures. Good policies make for good politics.
