About Pamela A. Kan
Founded in 1950, Bishop-Wisecarver Corporation is located in Pittsburg, CA. Pamela is second generation and joined the company in 1991. She became president in and the principal shareholder in 2009. Currently BWC focuses on engineering and manufacturing linear and rotary motion solutions that excel in harsh and extreme environments. In 2010 Bishop-Wisecarver gained certification as a WBENC certified woman owned enterprise. 2015, Pamela led the first acquisition for the company with the asset purchase of Specialty Motions, Inc. In 2025 Pamela led the acquisition of Symation Inc, and controls systems integrator. Turning Bishop-Wisecarver into a complete mechatronics company. Pamela attended the University of Arizona, Kellogg and Harvard Business School executive programs. Pamela has a passion for STEM based education, technology and marketing.
