ABOUT PEEHU BHATIA

Psychology postgraduate with strong interests in educational psychology, mental health, and community-based interventions. I bring hands-on experience across diverse settings—from academic research and school-based projects to social media management and large-scale event volunteering.I have conducted a quantitative research study, published in Humanities and Social Science Review (2024), exploring the relationship between peer influences, academic challenges, and affective states in young adults. My interest in Applied Psychology has also led me to work on the Positive Schooling Project at Christ School ICSE, where I support the implementation of student well-being interventions.I’ve actively contributed to several national and international events. As part of the social media & publicity team for the AsiaPLAT Conference 2024, I created and promoted event content. I participated in the Neurodiversity Summit 2024 and the International Seminar “Emotional Bridges” in association with the University of Oslo. I also volunteered at DAKSH 2025, IC3 Institute’s Empower Program, and Christ University\'s sustainability initiative Tattva.Through my community service at government child care institutions in Bengaluru (2024), I facilitated well-being programs for adolescent girls and boys. At Healing Towards Happiness, I serve as Social Media Head and Speaker, leading webinar sessions on psychology topics. My content and outreach work extends to ASMEE Foundation (NGO) and Chal Kar Welfare Foundation (NGO), where I managed social media strategies and support field campaigns.I also gained corporate experience at Transsion India, working in the HR department on Employee Branding and Referral Strategies—bridging people-centered psychology with organizational communication.I hold workshop certifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (World Mental Health Development Association), Research Paper Writing (Speaking Cube), and Applied Psychology (Karma Center for Counselling & Well-being). I’ve also completed an internship in digital marketing at Rave Filtech Pvt. Ltd.I aim to integrate academic insight, field exposure, and digital communication skills to create meaningful impact in educational and mental health settings.
