ABOUT PEDRO MALHEIRO

I bring a strong foundation in financial services, underpinned by a passion for Economics and Finance principles, to deliver value-driven outcomes for clients across the sector. My professional journey has allowed me to support large-scale transformation programmes, including playing a key role in strategic and tactical leadership efforts for PwC’s first Digital Assets Scale initiative, as well as projects linked to CARF implementation. I’ve also contributed to a range of client engagements across banking and insurance, primarily from a risk and regulatory perspective. I have a longstanding expertise in Blockchain, Digital Assets, and Tokenization areas in which I’ve previously lectured and had work published. This passion continues to guide my involvement in innovation within the Financial Services sector. Academically grounded in Economics and Business through my studies at Birkbeck, University of London, I specialize in developing bespoke solutions tailored to client challenges, with a focus on growth, resilience, and operational efficiency. My ethos is driven by excellence, collaboration, and meaningful impact. I’ve had the opportunity to demonstrate leadership in multiple settings from managing a medium sized charitable organization to earning recognition through the Accelerate Scholarship (Runner-Up) and ICAEW Top 100 competitions among others. I’m committed to continuously improving processes, driving performance, and helping clients navigate complex change in an increasingly digital and regulated world.
