ABOUT PEDRO GOUVEIA
I have 10 years of experience in academic research in biomedicine and recently moved to the industry sector in pharma. I graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2009, and was awarded a PhD in 2016. Throughout my academic career I engaged with several multidisciplinary groups in healthcare research, meanwhile developing biomaterials targeting to heal damaged organs. Also, I created a track record of international publications, and engaged in science communication actions, both in Portuguese and English. More recently, I moved to the pharmaceutical industry, more precisely to the diagnostics sector. In my current role at Tcoag, I provide technical and scientific support to collaborators and customers, ensuring that the division meets the necessary quality and manufacturing targets.
