Responsible for the nylon 6.6 solid-state, conditioner and spin process;• Evaluate areas of improvement, design enhancements and create strategies to develop process efficiencies, equipment, costs, downtime, and scrap;• Monitors the process performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as RFT, MME, OEE, cost productivity, customer complaints, and takes action to make improvements including performing plant based process investigations • Isolate and reduce sources of variation and resolve production and quality issues through the use of Manufacturing Process Control and/or advanced problem-solving techniques, i.e. Design of Experiments, process capability, SPC and FMEA• Help build and maintain shop floor work instructions (including specifications, engineering changes, QAD/process control, and tooling definition/requirements.);• Lead/facilitate chartered continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, efficiency improvement, quality/customer satisfaction and safety as assigned. Utilize Lean-Six Sigma Tools, Methodology, and other processes.• Provide focused & effective leadership in eliminating EH & S/Ergonomics/Human Factor risks and addressing quality issues.
