Born in Tepatitlán, Jalisco, México and raised in South East Los Angeles, Pedro Adrian De Anda Plascencia is a first-generation professional. He is an aspiring Latino change-maker who is currently working as a Legislative Aide in the Office of U.S. Senator Alex Padilla.In his role, Pedro staffs the Senator’s energy and environment portfolios. He works closely with the Senate committee on Energy and Natural Resources (ENR) as well as the Senate committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW), both of which his boss sits on. Pedro is an alum of the University of California, Berkeley, the Capital Fellows Program, and the CHCI Public Policy Fellowship. He is a dedicated public servant who is committed to advocating for underserved communities. In the near future, he plans to pursue graduate school.
