ABOUT PEDRO TOKUSHIRO
I am a Data Analytic Scientist at FICO, a global leader in predictive analytics and decision management solutions. I apply my engineering background and skills to analyze and visualize complex data sets, design and test algorithms, and develop innovative solutions for various business and social challenges.I graduated from UC Berkeley with a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, where I worked on a capstone project with Blue Goji, a VR wellness company. I designed an extension of EEG sensors to their VR system, and studied real-time brain responses to provide personalized evaluations for treatment plans in clinical settings. This project sparked my interest in data science and its applications to health and wellness.I am passionate about learning new technologies and tools, and collaborating with diverse and talented teams. I have fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, thanks to my multicultural background and experience living in different countries. I am always looking for new opportunities to grow and contribute to the data science field.
