Currently the Director of the Office of Financial Management, Office of the Chief Financial Officer. I develop, direct, evaluate, and publish financial policies and procedures and oversee various federal financial management compliance activities to improve agency operations and support the financial integrity of Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) programs.As Director, I direct the development of financial policies, internal controls, and audit initiatives that facilitate the successful delivery of FHWA programs activities, including the following- Planned, directed, and oversaw nationwide financial and management programs affecting Federal, State, and local government agencies and other partners- Direct the development of financial policies, internal controls, and legislative initiatives that facilitate the successful delivery of FHWA programs- Lead internal FHWA and Federal-state financial management improvement initiatives working directly with FHWA field and Headquarters leadership- Direct and provide leadership in developing and implementing policy documents related to the successful delivery of FHWA programs- Provide technical guidance to Federal officials, congressional inquiries, state officials, and others as required.I am a senior-level professional with expert knowledge of organizational and program practices sufficient to accomplish various management assignments. I have experience providing direction, program-level policy, and guidance related to the financial management of a Transportation Program. I am skilled in performing complex duties in financial management and management analyses. In addition, I possess expert analytical and communication skills and an understanding of the Federal-aid highway and Federal Lands Programs (FHWA programs).
