   I am honored to serve as a Board Member for GenteConnect, the Equinix Employee Community Network (EECN) an Employee Resource Group (ERG) dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion. As the lead for the Americas region, I actively support all DIB (Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging) initiatives at Equinix.GenteConnect\'s vision is to promote Hispanic/Latin languages, culture, and heritage while developing, advancing, leading and encouraging outstanding Hispanic/Latin talent (affectionately known as DALE). We strive to build cross-cultural bridges and capture the power of our creativity and experience to expand Equinix\'s competitive advantage. Prior to my board position, I dedicated several years as an Ambassador for GenteConnect, focusing on supporting activities in the New York/New Jersey area. In my current role, I contribute countless hours to GenteConnect, actively participating in board-level annual planning, meetings, and goal-setting. I am proud to have been part of numerous achievements and milestones within the organization. During this time, I\'ve played a key role in support the creation of bylaws, planning events, and launching a micro-scholarship initiative for high school students and I also serve on the board\'s selection committee, which seeks to select, interview and promote new board members for appointment. Beyond my professional involvement, I am deeply committed to giving back to the community. I have volunteered my time and resources, providing support through various initiatives and making donations to causes close to my heart.I am passionate about promoting diversity, inclusion, and belonging within Equinix and the wider community. Through GenteConnect, I am dedicated to advancing our vision and making a positive impact by celebrating Hispanic/Latin languages, culture, and heritage.
