I help leadership coaches move beyond feast-and-famine referrals by using relationship-first business development to create clear offers and simple systems that make sales and delivery easier. You can be brilliant at what you do and still struggle to create predictable clients. You have the experience, the results, and the credibility. But referrals are drying up. The pipeline feels like guesswork. And nobody really prepares you for the shift from being good at the craft to being able to sell it consistently. I learned this the hard way. By 2017, I had invested in professional development and zero in learning how to sell what I knew. I spent 9 years as a proud generalist. L&D consultant, trainer, facilitator, coach, workshop designer. I said yes to everything. Hit the six-figure mark. But I was subcontracting below my worth, burning out, and never sure when the next gig would land. I was proud of the work, but the low-level anxiety about work drying up became real in 2019. The month I turned 40 and got married, I went 6 months without a single new contract. What I had seen as breadth was really invisibility dressed up as flexibility. I couldn\'t explain what I did or who it was for. The shift came (by accident) through the pandemic. I supported 30+ charities through digital transformation. My skills stayed broad, but the focus narrowed. Marketing got easier. Delivery got sharper. New clients came. I had ‘niched through” rather than niche down. That became the foundation of everything I share now.
