ABOUT ANNETTE PEARSON

Annette is a certified Project Manager who has managed projects in more than a dozen different countries. Having previously been a developer and DBA she moved into Project Management due to her desire to help her colleagues and her natural ability for planning and leading. She understands the importance of focusing on appropriate project processes and effective communication in order to bring an IT project to a successful acceptance and a positive conclusion. She has a special interest in improving processes by feeding back lessons learnt into the corporate methodologies.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS• Ownership of the D&I Strategy for a team of 120.• Practitioner collaborator for London School of Economics (LSE)’s course on ‘Business Transformation and Project Management’. Contributed to developing the course syllabus and guest speaker for the topics ‘IT Enabled Business Transformation’ and ‘Project Governance and Contractual Management’. Also lectured on project management at Royal Holloway University.• Managed teams of up to 30 people on a single project or simultaneously managed 3 to 4 projects European wide ranging from short deliverables to 2 year implementations. Including managing project teams based in four different countries.• Managed budgets up to thirty million and reported directly to CEO.• Ownership or involvement in implementing or updating project office standards, project methodologies and quality management systems in all organisations she has worked in.• Member of Agile Practitioners and Agile London in order to include agile practices in package implementations.
