About Paula Earley
I am a J.D. candidate at Indiana University McKinney School of Law, with a professional background spanning aviation, finance, and risk management. I began my career as an industrial engineer and aviation professional, working in highly regulated environments where safety, operational accountability, and structured decision-making were critical.After completing my MBA, I transitioned into the financial services industry to build on my analytical and operational background in a new context. I currently work in commercial banking, where I evaluate financial information and contribute to credit and risk assessment processes. This transition has allowed me to apply the same disciplined, risk-based approach developed in aviation to financial decision-making and institutional risk evaluation.Through my legal education, I am continuing to build on this foundation and deepen my understanding of corporate, banking, and compliance law. My long-term interest is in legal and compliance roles supporting organizations that operate in complex regulatory environments.In addition to my professional and academic work, I serve on the Board of the Peace Learning Center and lead the Indianapolis market for TODOS at Old National Bank, supporting professional development and community engagement initiatives.
