Triage, investigate, research, and respond to security incidents generated through Trellix Helix (FireEye), Crowdstrike, Arcsight, FraudWatch, Sumo Logic, IncMan, and Mandiant Advantage by Google. Manage and execute vulnerability scanning and assessments using tools such as Tenable Nessus and Qualys Application of SIEM tools for event logs/alerts, SOAR tools/playbook for automation and general application of Malware Information Sharing Platform (MISP), FireEye ETP (Email Threat Prevention), Proofpoint and Splunk Phantom to identify, quarantine, remediate, and block valid phishing emails. Manage compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, and industry-specific standards like ISO 27001. Implement GRC software solutions to streamline processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and enable real-time monitoring of risk and compliance activities. Responds to security incidents by taking appropriate actions such as isolating affected systems, blocking traffic, whitelisting domains, tuning alerts, setting rules and containing the threat. Collaborate and communicate closely with other teams such as SOC Team and NOC Team to resolve security incidents. Keeps end-users informed by preparing performance reports and communicating system status Investigate and respond to activities related to Endpoint, Enterprise and Network Detection and Threat Response) using Extrahop, Snort and Microsoft Defender for Endpoints. Review security-related events, assessing severity, impacts, and priority through Zendesk and ServiceNow and as well perform TRA (Threat Risk Assessment). Participate in the documentation, deployment, integration, architecture, and configuration of all new security solutions.
