About Patrick Moran
I am a Senior Economist in the Division of Research & Statistics at the Federal Reserve Board. Previously I was an Assistant Professor at the University of Copenhagen, a faculty member in the Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality (CEBI), and a visiting scholar at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS). My research interests are in macroeconomics, household finance, and public economics. I am especially interested in using micro data and macro models to better understand the aggregate implications of household financial decisions and the distributional consequences of public policies designed to affect household behavior.
