ABOUT PAUL HACKETT

I’m Paul Hackett, Senior Divisional Director of Gaming at Evolution Recruitment. Over the last five years, I’ve built the Gaming Division from the ground up, focusing on contract recruitment for studios across Europe.What’s always worked for me is keeping things community-driven. Whether it’s through conversations with studios, recording podcast episodes, or running events, I’ve built relationships that go beyond quick wins. That approach has helped Evolution become a trusted partner to both independents and established leaders in gaming.I also founded the Evolution Game Leaders Summit in Stockholm—an annual invite-only event that brings together 200–300 senior leaders from across the Nordics and Europe. It’s grown into a place where leaders share ideas, make connections, and celebrate the innovation that drives gaming forward.My leadership style is about giving people the space and responsibility to be proactive and entrepreneurial, while making sure we’re working together, holding ourselves accountable, and always improving.
