About Prath Dalvi

I was born and brought up in Mumbai - the cultural potpourri of India. My upbringing in the city has taught me values such as diversity, resilience, and persistence. I first came to the US in 2006 and I have since imbibed the American values of equality, assertiveness, and independence. These experiences have greatly shaped my personality and my work ethic, and I am extremely proud to have been groomed by two of the most welcoming cultures of the world.In my current role as the Director, Workday Core HCM & Security, I am responsible for the Comcast’s foundational Workday strategy and operations for 80k+ employees and as many contingent workers. My progressive experience in Portal, Mobile, UX and Core HR has given me the edge to learn and understand both the technical and functional aspects of multiple ERP platforms. It has also given me the opportunity to lead projects associated with the enhancement of both operational efficiencies and end-user experience.As a leader, I consider myself balanced, transformational, and agile. Balanced because I have been able to consistently maintain an equilibrium of responsibilities between myself, my team, and my leaders resulting in a positive and healthy work environment. Transformational because I volunteered to inherit a completely new function (security) and have been able to build a phenomenal and diverse team with a collective passion for excellent customer service. And finally, Agile because I do my best to imbibe the 3 Cs of agile leadership – Communication, Commitment and Collaboration. As a person, I am seriously funny and funnily serious. I was a standup comedian and impressionist in my early years and today, I have my own YouTube channel. This trait is reflected in both my method of working and the social fabric of my team. We do have a lot of fun together (the funny GIFs keep rolling on the Teams chat) but when it comes to work, the seriousness automatically kicks in. I had to notify you of all this because if you sign me up for anything, this is what you will have to deal with.I try to constantly educate and improve myself to be a better person.
