Daniel-Sebastian Dohle graduated as a medical doctor in Germany and completed his residency in cardiac surgery with a focus on complex aortic and valvular disease. He received dedicated training in Essen under Prof. Jakob and completed an advanced aortic fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania with Prof. Joseph Bavaria, concentrating on complex aortic and root surgery.He is currently Privatdozent and Deputy Director of the Department of Cardiac and Vascular Surgery at the university hospital Mainz, with active involvement in clinical care, research, and teaching. His clinical focus includes minimally invasive cardiac surgery, transaxillary valve ascending and root procedures, total endoscopic mitral valve as well as complex aortic surgery.
