ABOUT PAUL CAST

I am a safeguarding, violence prevention, and crisis response professional with experience across education, humanitarian contexts, and international development. My work has consistently focused on protecting vulnerable populations, strengthening prevention systems, and building capacity through training, education, and technical support.I bring a calm, values-driven approach to complex environments, shaped by years of work in safeguarding, SGBV prevention, health education, and emergency and disaster response. Whether working internationally or within local systems, I’m motivated by practical solutions that improve safety, dignity, and wellbeing.From training frontline staff and developing curricula to supporting crisis response and resilience planning, I have worked across public, nonprofit, and humanitarian sectors to translate policy into practice. I have lived and worked internationally from 2017–2023 and am now based in the UK, continuing to build my professional focus at the intersection of safeguarding, health, safety, and emergency management.I am particularly interested in roles that value prevention, ethical leadership, and long-term impact, where safeguarding, education, and resilience are not afterthoughts, but foundations.Outside of work, I’m drawn to roles and environments that value curiosity, service, and continuous learning and I’m always open to conversations about collaboration, prevention, and building safer systems.
