ABOUT PAUL BRYCE
All of us are on a journey. I am passionate about creating and defining journeys for businesses, customers and employees that result in the best experience possible, leading people to a place of growth and success.I have held various senior executive leadership roles from Chief Commercial Officer to Managing Director. I have been involved in the acquisitions of 10 businesses and 3 rounds of Private Equity investment, being a board director for each.My career has seen 30 years in technology businesses, and for 21 of those years, I was privileged to help lead a business from a start-up to one of the UK’s leading and best recognised Technology Managed Service Providers. There were 3 of us, then there were 1100. There was no revenue, then there was £200m annually. There were no customers, then there were 1800. It didn’t happen by accident. It happened because there was a good idea mapped to a thought-out strategy and executed with deliberate actions. It has been a journey of growth, and throughout I have been continually refining my skills and have enjoyed the support from some of the most clever and wise people out there. If I was to summarise my most important pillars my career has demonstrated, here are 7:1. Vision: being able to see the way forward, being able to identify opportunities and recognise good investments.2. Strategy: specifically go-to-market, answering the question about how do we take this great idea and create some value, covering product, marketing and sales strategy.3. Communication: I have spoken at many internal and external events, with the aim of telling a story that resonates, inspires and helps people find their way.4. Culture: what you do may change but recognising what made you what you are and being faithful to it is a critical pillar for any organisation in its ability to succeed, driving both employee and customer engagement.5. People: my experience is that without good people around, you limit potential. I can recognise raw talent and have enjoyed mentoring people to achieve more.6. Creativity: I love exploring different ways of telling a story that captures attention and emotion.7. Growth: helping businesses, customers and employees grow has been the key measure of success.
