   Help drive CIPE’s mission, working with business leaders to promote good governance and healthy markets that expand economic opportunity. Over 14 years, have risen from North Africa Program Officer to MENA Deputy Director. Responsibilities span strategic oversight, staff and portfolio management, and program implementation. Also play key role as CIPE leader, mentor and subject matter expert.• Management and Leadership – Lead and mentor 14 staff implementing projects in Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Libya. Support MENA Director in managing 40-person team and participate in cross-CIPE Program Leadership Team. Have spearheaded numerous initiatives to improve CIPE’s impact at all levels. • Strategy – Lead staff in developing North Africa strategies and advise Director on MENA strategy. Have also facilitated strategy discussions for other CIPE departments.• Implementation – Work closely with implementing organizations, often visiting the region. Have implemented over 25 projects in North Africa, leading: program design; budget and proposal drafting; activity planning and support; financial management; and reporting and evaluation. • Analytical writing and editing – Provide feedback to colleagues and grantee organizations (in French and English) to improve quality and impact of dozens of different written products. Have authored over 40 grant proposals, 30 project concept notes, 25 briefers, ten programmatic factsheets and six implementation-related guides. • Organizational capacity building – Train in key capacity areas, facilitating sensitive discussions with civil society leaders on organizational needs and advising on practical steps. Develop and deliver capacity assessments, tools and training modules.• Training and facilitation – Develop and deliver tailored training programs for CIPE colleagues and civil society organizations. Also develop training sessions for colleagues and have facilitated numerous sessions to help colleagues with program design.
