ABOUT PAYTON TIMMENEY
Payton Timmeney currently serves as a finance and operations analyst in NYU Langone Health\'s Faculty Group Practice. She received her Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of Southern California (USC), Sol Price School of Public Policy. As part of USC’s progressive degree program, Payton also completed her undergraduate degree at USC in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, B.S, in the Keck School of Medicine with a minor in Public Relations.Payton has served as a member of many community service organizations, primarily focused on the health education of the surrounding community. She has worked in various healthcare and public health organizations ranging from student health centers, non-profit hospitals and health systems, and managed care organizations.Most recently, Payton completed an administrative fellowship in the Department of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). Previously, she completed an administrative residency at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. She also worked in an administrative role in the USC Office for Health Promotion Strategy, aiding in the USC Wellbeing Collective, an active approach to enhance a culture driven by student wellbeing. Additionally, Payton participated in the NorthShore HealthSystem Research Fellowship program, conducting genetic, public health, and epidemiology-based research in a nationally ranked Urology department. Previously, she worked as an intern at the managed care organization IlliniCare Health (now Aetna), a constituent of the Centene Corporation, which provided Medicaid and Medicare health plans to residents of Illinois. Through her coursework and these roles, Payton is growing her expertise in healthcare services to explore new ideas and opportunities to make meaningful changes in healthcare.
