About Payton Godchaux
My name is Payton Godchaux, I will be graduating in Finance in December after 3.5 years at LSU. I am series 7 and SIE certified. I worked for many years as a waiter and beach attendant, but more recently as an intern under a Lafayette branch of Commonwealth management. There I learned the importance of personalized asset allocation and how important people skills are in wealth management. People don\'t care what you know until they know that you care. I have been recognized as a standout student by my professors and asked to tutor an entire senior level class on Bloomberg portfolio optimization. I was also invited to attend multiple conferences to be paid for by the university. I am also currently a part of the LSU tiger fund class where we manage a sizeable portion of the LSU endowment. I love finance, I love hard work, and I am excited to make my way.
