About Payel Ghosh
I am a mining tourism expert and industrial heritage reseacher with a Ph.D. from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), where my research focused on mining tourism, livelihood transitions, and rural development possibilities. I am interested in contributing to academia through teaching, curriculum development, and collaborative research. Beyond teaching, I actively engage in creating accessible resources for students and aspire to contribute to policies linking geography with sustainable rural development.
