Technical Project lead (System & Component) for mid- to high-volume battery projects with European and Asian OEMs- Functional leadership of cross-disciplinary teams in mechanical and electrical engineering- Component ownership with the responsibility of new technology innovation through pre-development (advanced engineering) project along with design-to-cost projects and build to print projects. Additionally, engagement in change management processes- Interface to design, prototyping, validation, and simulation (mechanical and thermal)- Coordination and contribution in risk assessments using 8D and D-FMEA- Review of battery assembly and sub-component drawings and management of deviation permits- Ownership of component DFMEA, DFM, DOE, Reliability, cleanliness and safety- HV & Functional Safety, Thermal management, Thermal Propagation, System Engineering, Leadership & HV part developing requirements- Strong experience in Plastic, Casting & Metal component design, steel fabrication, weldment design, rubber & dispense Sealing etc- Creation and maintenance of updatable 3D & 2D data in CATIA V5 & 3Dx, parts lists and BOM planning in the product data management system.
