ABOUT PAWEL GUZIK

I operate at the intersection of regulation, technology, and AI agentic engineering, translating complex multi-jurisdiction financial regulation into operational AI systems that drive real-time compliance decision-making.I am a Legal Engineer at Norm Ai, based in London, and the company’s first international hire. I lead regulatory AI deployments across the UK, EMEA, and APAC for global financial institutions collectively managing over $30 trillion in assets. My work involves architecting autonomous regulatory AI agents, overseeing cross-border implementations, and partnering directly with senior compliance and executive stakeholders to embed AI into core governance workflows.Beyond technical design, I contribute to strategic go-to-market initiatives, lead senior client engagements, deliver product demonstrations and pilot programs, and represent the company at major industry conferences. I focus on building scalable regulatory intelligence infrastructure that is robust, auditable, and commercially viable.Previously, I co-founded and served as CEO of CourtNotes, an AI-driven legal research and document management platform, where I led product strategy, system architecture, and financial oversight. Alongside my industry work, I have taught law at leading London universities, including UCL, LSE, KCL, and QMUL, refining my ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and precision.I hold an MSc in Law and Finance with Distinction from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and Faculty of Law, and a First Class LLB in Law from King’s College London.I’m passionate about technology, innovation, and building products that challenge convention, and always open to conversations about AI, leadership, startups, and the future of intelligent systems.
