About Pawan Bole
As a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, I work on large-scale distributed systems that provide reliable and scalable solutions for e-commerce. I use Java, Spring, Guice, Git, AWS tools, and other technologies to develop and deploy high-quality software that meets the needs and expectations of millions of customers. I collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver innovative and customer-centric features and enhancements.Before joining Amazon, I was a Research Assistant and a Software Developer at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I completed my Master of Science in Information Technology with a 3.8 GPA. I integrated CyVerse, a cloud-based data analysis and visualization platform, with the Integrated Genome Browser, a desktop application for bioinformatics research. I also fixed issues and improved usability for the browser and related tools. This project enhanced my skills in Java, Python, Django, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and REST APIs, as well as my domain knowledge in bioinformatics. In addition, I learned how to work with different teams, clients, and researchers, and how to follow agile scrum methodology for software development.I aim to lead a product team that works on challenging and impactful problems in software engineering and innovation.
