Detailed techno-economic analysis and revenue optimization of utility scale - battery energy storage systems (BESS) for the development and investment decision process across different US markets. Key skills include battery modeling and simulation, stochastic data-modeling, revenue modeling and optimization. Working closely with industry stakeholders and subject matter experts for commercial structuring of pivotal assets on long/short term basis.Prior to this, I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University, collaborating with Texas A&M on a US-DOE funded research project on the topic of techno-economic optimization of advanced energy plants with integrated thermal, mechanical, and electro-chemical storage.My major contributions were on integrated modeling, simulation and optimization of hydrogen and compressed air energy storage systems with natural gas combined cycle plants, to enhance the resilience of power grids for sustainable demand management. I have my main and co-authored publications on Energies (MDPI) and Elsevier’s Energy Conversion and Management journals.
